Worm Hunter (2022)
I created an animation called Worm Hunter, which was heavily inspired by the visual storytelling of Samurai Jack and the distinctive art style of The Powerpuff Girls. My goal was to blend minimalist designs with a strong focus on dynamic character movement, capturing the fluid, exaggerated motions reminiscent of classic Cartoon Network cartoons.
Cinematography played a crucial role, as I wanted each scene to evoke the same kind of atmospheric tensionfound in Samurai Jack, using wide shots, dramatic angles, and a moment of silence to sound of the attack. The result is a fast-paced animation.

ALICE (2023)
Alice was a teaser trailer created for a hypothetical television show that would have taken place in the world of 'Silent Hill'. It used heavy use of inspiration from the music to the animation.
During this project I tried to animate with a different style that was inspired by anime and manga. The project creatively blends 3D models with 2D animated characters, serving as an experimental approach to storytelling.
This project was a joint collaboration with another artist, Nico Bravenholm. who supplied the concept art for the main character

PokeJAM: Magnemite vs Mudbray (2023)
I took part in some extra curricular studies of motion in 2D animation which mainly focused on the movement of Pokemon.
it focused on playing a Pokemon game against another animator and animating the death/victory of your pokemon. I lost round one, so I only had one option, so I wanted to make it as visually interesting as possible!
This small group project fell through before anybody else had finished their project, leaving me as the only one to complete my part of the animation.
